Where in the world do I start.. I got in on Wednesday and was immediately thrown into a class where the teacher was only speaking German. That was one of the most crazy/stressful days of my life. We have the ASL sisters in my zone, and sometimes I think I'm learning more ASL than German, but the language is coming along. My companion is Elder Demarco from Canada! He is pretty cool, and we get along well. I've got an Australian in my district and his accent is awesome! We've been trying to get him to speak in an American accent, but he is pretty hesitant.. yo so on Tuesday we had Sister Bingham come and speak to us! She is the relief society president, that was super cool! I liked her talk, but I was kinda tired so I didn't get too much out of it but her husband talked and I thought I would share something from it. He said something along the lines "To be worth means to be perfect enough, not perfect." This was awesome, because German is so difficult to learn and it was really discouraging me and when I heard this I was like dang I don't have to be perfect at the language or learning the language to be adequate enough to be on the mission. Anyways, the MTC is great and my zone is crazy. They really like to talk in these hick accents and yell threats at each other like, "I'm gonna ring your neck" or "Come here boy" its great, I love these guys! Most of the older ones have been here for about 8 weeks and they head out next week, so we will be getting a patch of greenies soon! Ill keep yall updated!
